Mario Is No Longer A Plumber: Odyssey From Rags To Riches
Every low end job is a stepping stone to further improve your life. Sometimes it takes months and sometimes it takes years. The red hat brother has been fortunate enough to be known for his plumbing skills, often cleaning kitchen sinks from Koopa pileups. He would be invited to a party or 10, often go kart racing or play a few sports with friends, play pretend doctor, and have a stable relationship with the woman of his dreams, but it seems it just wasn’t enough for him. I am sad to report that Mario is no longer a plumber
In an official profile of Mario on Nintendo’s Japanese site, the hero is described as:
“All around sporty, whether it’s tennis or baseball, soccer or car racing, [Mario] does everything cool. As a matter of fact, he also seems to have worked as a plumber a long time ago…”
Wow. Let us not forget he first started as a carpenter before becoming a plumber when Mario Bros. was released.
